After a friendly phone chat with my client, Sarah, I sat with a cuppa and intuitively sketched a few ideas. Sarah was very clear on which sketches she preferred. The challenge was to keep the feeling of that first pencil sketch, as I worked it up into a logo that could be used on her website and across various applications.
